The Western - Closed

6830 E. 5th Ave. Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | Central Scottsdale | 480-947-3585

Location Description:

Located on a stretch of Fifth Avenue near Indian School Road, the sleek little country music joint perched at the edge of Old Town comes courtesy of Tucker Woodbury (The Vig bars and The Little Woody tavern in East Phoenix) and Stateside Presents promoter Charlie Levy. A kind of honky-tonk version of the Crescent Ballroom, the downtown music venue opened by the duo in 2011, The Western features local and national acts as well as booze and grub in a rustic yet refined setting that keeps its cool without ever going the way of flashier joints in the Valley. Saddle up for boot-scootin’ music and good booze, but steer clear of the cowboy-style chow — you’ve had better elsewhere.
