Vitamin T - Closed

1 E. Washington St., Ste 175 Phoenix, AZ 85003 | Central Phoenix | 602-688-8168

Location Description:

In Mexico, fast food sold from carts on the street is called comidas corridas (loosely translated, it means "running food") and includes tacos, tamales and tortas. Time-crunched urban dwellers have lumped these items together and refer to them collectively as "Vitamin T," which is where this popular eatery takes its name. Chef Aaron May has brought these "T's" to downtown Phoenix's new CityScape, where Mexican food fans can order tortas topped with black bean spread and an assortment of vegetables in addition to chicken or beef. Yum! The Milanesa torta offers crispy chicken breast in a folded sandwich that's loaded with tasty sauce. And a meatless torta combining mushrooms and Swiss chard is our personal fave. Go!
