He's basketball player-size tall. He's lanky. And he's bearded. He may not look like a twinkle toes, but drop him in a dance battle, and Jonathan Sakas can throw the f- down. The local electro pop musician might not have a traditional dancer's body, but in his music video for "Saturday," he proves he can shake it. In the clip, Sakas, backed by four hottie female backup dancers, throws down moves hotter than *NSYNC. It's way more choreography than usually hits the local music circuit, and it helps the song is super-catchy. Check out the video here, and scroll to 0:53 to see Sakas in action.

But don't think Sakas' fancy feet are all natural talent. There's a lot that goes into honing the craft that is the magic of his moves. He broke down his training regimen in Vine video format after the jump, and stay tuned for a live concert announcement from Sakas.

New Times: How can you channel your confidence to really put your all into the dancing? Jonathan Sakas: I work really hard, so I make sure to stay positive by spoiling myself every now and then.

Are there any stretching/cool-down techniques you have to make sure you stay injury-free? Staying fit is important to dancing, so I try to eat healthy. I even have a special routine at the grocery store to select the food I eat to make sure it's good for me.

Any tips for looking natural and not like a robot? Being up-to-date, and keeping up with current trends, keeps everything natural and fun.

How can you quickly and effectively memorize moves? The dance team did a really great job working with me and helping me learn the moves. Also, going out and partying at a dance club can really help. I actually get a lot of practice on a crazy night out.
