8 Most Expensive Super Bowl XLIX Concerts and Parties

With Super Bowl XLIX just days away, it's tempting to hungrily eye the vast array of entertainment options as a buffet -- and there are many, many choices available to you. Except that not every event is on the all-you-can-eat buffet, some of the dishes are seasonally priced and off the menu, and if you have to ask, you can't afford it. Phoenix is practically Los Angeles or Las Vegas this weekend, complete with the ridiculous prices. Here are the most expensive parties happening this Super Bowl weekend.

The Playboy Party Hosted by Nelly - Thursday, January 29 - The W in Scottsdale

There's not a whole lot of information about this party, except that it's bankrolled by Playboy and hosted by Nelly. We expect to see lots of bunnies? Maybe? Hopefully Nelly will perform. There better be tons of entertainment, though, since tickets to this event start at $725 a pop, with VIP going for more than $1000.

Bootsy Bellows Takeover Hosted by Drake - Friday, January 30 - The W in Scottsdale

If you'd like to rub elbows with hip-hop's golden child, it's going to cost you $350 a pop. Drake isn't even scheduled to perform; Brody Jenner & William Lifestyle will be providing the music for the evening.

Featuring Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler and pop hit-maker/singer Charli XCX, tickets to the invite-only event are a jaw-dropping $1150.

Moves Kickoff Party - Wednesday, January 28 - Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale

This party features a DJ session by pioneering hip-hop artist and turntablist, Grandmaster Flash, as well as indie pop act The Ting Tings. Doors are at 9 p.m. We can't imagine these two artists getting paired at an event anyway, let alone being charged $250 for general admission and $500 for VIP access.

The Maxim Super Bowl Party - Saturday, January 31 - Scottsdale Municipal Airport Hangar

Again, there's very little information about any of these parties available yet, and the Maxim party, scheduled to take place in the enormous hangar in Scottsdale, is no exception. All we that GA tickets to the Maxim party are $1500, and VIP is $2400.

ESPN Next Party - Friday, January 30 - WestWorld

ESPN's marquee party has got to be grand, and this party is looking to be no exception. Featuring music by J. Cole, Charli XCX, DJ Questlove, and SOSUPERSAM, ESPN will transform the venue for a night filled with A-listers, athletes, and more. From ESPN's website: "The 117,000 square foot space will be transformed into a mid-century modern home with life-sized rock walls and formations. It will also include 700 linear feet of projection mapping of sunsets and sunrises in a desert setting." Unless you can afford the $1000 ticket, you'll have to follow the party from the streaming live feed ESPN plans on hosting.

Leather and Laces - Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31 - Bentley Gallery

Hosted by Victoria's Secret, this party guarantees models galore, and models Erin Heatherton and Adriana Lima will host the event. Cirque du Soleil performers will reportedly be present to acrobatically pour champagne, which automatically makes this the coolest party out there. $600 cool? That's for you to decide, dear reader, since that's how much tickets cost to this event. VIP tickets will run a cool $1000.

Big Game Big Give - Wednesday, January 28 - Matt Williams' house in Paradise Valley

This is a charity fundraiser hosted by movie stars, and it's one of the most expensive tickets in the Valley this weekend, but at least it's for a good cause, right? Mark Wahlberg and Michael Bay will host this event, which will take place at the residence of Matt & Erika Williams in Paradise Valley. Matt, of course, is the five-time All Star third baseman, former Diamondback and current Washington Nationals manager, and Erika is a newscaster-turned reality TV contestant. You must apply for tickets to Big Game Big GIve, and they'll cost you $2500.
