Here's both some good and bad news to start your day.
First, the bad news: The folks over at Live Nation have announced that the Bamboozle Roadshow, the pop punk-laden summertime touring festival, won't be making a stop at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion on Wednesday, June 2.
And now the good news: Bamboozle headliners Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, and The Ready Set will be performing that same night over at the Venue of Scottsdale.
Read on for some of the possible reasons behind the situation.
Live Nation has absolutely no explanation for the cancellation of Bamboozle Roadshow stop, nor does Larry Rodgers of the Arizona Republic. However, Luckyman Concerts (which is promoting the substitute show at the Venue of Scottsdale) was able to shed a little light on the situation via the following (error-filled) statement on their site:
"Due to unexpected scheduling issues, the Bamboozle Roadshow/Too Fast For Love Phoenix concert, originally set for Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre on Weds, June 3rd, has been cancelled."

"No, the Bamboozle Roadshow in Arizona got canceled because Cobra Starship, 3Oh!3, and Travie McCoy canceled on this show. They're gonna play that same night at the Venue of Scottsdale now, but it's just gonna be an 'official' Bamboozle Roadshow anymore. :\"
While we weren't able to validate any of the above claims (3OH!3 has "TBD" listed on its MySpace calendar for June 2), it's as good an explanation as any. There's also been no word on whether or not any of the other Bamboozle bands (including Cady Groves, Great Big Planes, I Fight Dragons, Mercy Mercedes, and The Downtown Fiction) will make an appearance at the Venue of Scottsdale or any other local live music joint.
One last bit of bad news: Tickets for the Bamboozle stop at Cricket can't be used to get into the Venue of Scottsdale gig, and y'all will have to get a refund from Live Nation and purchase a separate ticket from Luckyman.
At least you won't be baking in the sun.
