With the economy in the toilet and massive layoffs occurring daily, the Coachella Music Festival, which announced its lineup today, is offering two layaway options for people wanting to purchase three-day passes and avoid paying the lump sum at once.

Considering that these passes go for $269, this is a smart choice for Coachella, which is offering a pay-half-now, pay-half-later option or a three-payment plan in which you can pay 10 percent of your order total, plus Ticketmaster fees, with the remaining amounts deducted in equal installments on the first of March and April. If you opt for the former, you can pay a 50 percent deposit now along with the Ticketmaster fees and the remaining 50 percent will be deducted from your account on April 1.
