When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? 92.7 or 99.3 The Beat (old school hip-hop).
What's the last song played on your portal music player? R. Kelly "When A Woman Loves," from his newest record.
What's the first record you bought? I didn't buy it, I won it -- Kiss, Destroyer.
What's the first concert you saw? The Who in 1989, Alpine Valley, Wis. (one of many "final farewell" tours they did.) It sucked--not one Townshend lead the whole show.
What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? Too many to choose: most recent -- King Kahn at the Rhythm Room and Dex Romweber Duo, also at the Rhythm Room
Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? I like vinyl played if possible -- but iPods rule for practical use.
What's your favorite CD? Making God Smile, by Drop Acid.
Who is your favorite singer or band? My favorite singer is Leslie Barton- she's like all the "Kims" wrapped in one - Deal, Gordon, Carnes and Little.
Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? Iman Aman: Water is Life,"Assouf".
What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2010? Man About a Dog, Viva.
What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? Tie: "Baby Boom Che," by John Trudell, or "Waterloo Sunset," by The Kinks.
Who is your favorite local artist? The Necronauts.
What is your favorite local venue to see music? Trunk Space.
What is your favorite music video? "Trapped in the Closet," R. Kelly.
