Music fans who missed the Warped Tour have a second chance to bake in the sun all day on the playing field at the Peoria Sports Complex. The Edge-FM 103.9 is hosting its annual summer celebration, Edgefest, with a lineup of 40 bands on five stages, including Story of the Year, which played Warped earlier this year, as well as Flogging Molly, Lit, and the Kottonmouth Kings, plus local favorites such as Authority Zero, Chronic Future, and the Format. Edgefest also serves as the kickoff of the Nintendo Fusion Tour, which features gaming kiosks and a preview of the new Nintendo DS, a dual-screen, wireless, hand-held video game system. Bring plenty of water -- there's little shade at the ball field.
