When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? I think the last time I listened to the radio was when Energy was still a radio station! When my key turns, you almost guaranteed to hear Dada Life, Eric Prydz or Benni Benassi.

What's the first album you bought? The very first album I ever bought was Guns N' Roses Appetite for Destruction, and I had to buy it from my best friend because my parents wouldn't let me have it. That was actually my second album, as well, since my mom found my first one.

What's the first concert you saw? My dad was actually running security at a music event for Guns N' Roses back in the '80s, and he took me. I think that I just realized how much I used to like those guys!

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? My favorite concert ever was actually a massive one out in the desert. Shockingly, I do not remember the name of it, but I will never forget Kimball Collins and the epic set he put on.

What's the last song played on your music player? "Hello New York," produced by Avicii.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? Well, vinyl is still king, but I have since moved my whole music collection over to mp3 format. Much easier to carry between gigs when your junk drive weighs 2 ounces.

What's your favorite album? Probably the only trance album that I still listen to, which is Kimball Collins, Clubnights, Vol. 2, released in 2000 (yeah, I'm old school, ha!)

Who is your favorite singer or band? Favorite DJ's right now have to be Chuckie, Laidback Luke, Kissy Sell Out, and Fegulk.

Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? My iTunes does track plays, and I am pretty sure that "Who's from LA" (by DJ Alex Kidd) is more than 500.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from the past year? 18 Months, from Calvin Harris, is fantastic! I actually never felt one way or another about him until I saw him live at Soundwave this year. Seeing him in a festival setting was a real treat, and he just blew up that crowd. His album to follow is just as gripping, and I cannot wait to see tracks from that live!

What band do you wish was still together? SHM (Swedish House Mafia) was a great loss to the electronic dance music scene. They were game changers and played a pretty large role in expanding exposure internationally during 2011.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? I will be playing this song Saturday night as well, but "The Kraken," produced by Headlock. This track is so intense that I don't think anyone will be left standing still. It's mind-blowing!

Who is your favorite local artist? I have to say that my favorite local DJ's are the guys that I work with. While they might not yet be national acts, they are all good enough to be one. I'm giving love out to DJ Byrdie, DJ Tone and DJ Killswitch for this question!

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Far and away, the best venue in Phoenix is the Marquee Theatre.

What is your favorite music video? As embarrassing as it might be to admit, "Gangnam Style." This video just makes me smile every time I see it.
