When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? It could be either Sirius XM or kid music. Pop stuff.
What's the first album you bought? I would say Metal Health, by Quiet Riot -- on cassette. What's the first concert you saw? The first one I remember is one my dad took me to see, Paul Simon at Mesa Amphitheatre, pre-Graceland, just him and a guitar. What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? That is a really tough question. Does a festival count? This last Coachella was up there at the top. Also, sneaking into a sold-out club to see Fugazi play in Paris.

What's the last song played on your music player? "Dawning" by Tamaryn.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? I will check out everything I can digitally, then buy what I like on vinyl. In less than 5 years, there probably won't be CD's.

What's your favorite album? Currently, it's What Did You Expect From the Vaccines?, by The Vaccines. Of all time? Maybe Pink Moon, by Nick Drake. Or, Seamonsters, by The Wedding Present.

Who is your favorite singer or band? I am a fanatical Robert Pollard/GBV (Guided By Voices) fan.

Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so,what's at the top of the list? The leader with the songs I have loaded currently is "I Feel It All" by Feist.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2010? Third and Seneca, by Sun Kil Moon, aka Mark Kozelek.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? Something to make everyone smile. Like, "Christmas in Hollis" by Run-DMC.

Who is your favorite local artist? There are so many people working hard that I really like. Courtney Marie Andrews and Kinch are two that stick out lately.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? When the weather is good, I love Mesa Amphitheatre. What is your favorite music video? "Did I Mention I Like to Dance" by Flynt Flossy.
