What's the first album you bought? Timbaland & Magoo.

What's the first concert you saw? Elvis Crespo.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? Little Brother, The Minstrel Show tour, or Erykah Badu at Mesa Amphitheatre.

What's the last song played on your music player? "Little Motel," Modest Mouse.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? I like the way vinyl sounds, love how CD's let you remember what music you had because you could see them, but the convenience of mp3's is awesome.

What's your favorite album? D'Angelo, Brown Sugar.

Who is your favorite singer or band? Boots, my boyfriend.

Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? This Sade vs. Erykah mix. I play it when I'm cooking, cleaning, relaxing, traveling -- whenever, really.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2011? Bon Iver, Bon Iver.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "To Zion," by Lauryn Hill. Everyone should be able to feel the love she had in that record.

Who is your favorite local artist? Jordin Sparks.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Comerica Theatre or Celebrity Theatre. Small venues are awesome.

What is your favorite music video? "Welcome to Heartbreak," Kanye West.
