As our sister blog, Jackalope Ranch reported earlier this month, women's apparel eBay shop Meat Market Vintage is now open for business on Mill Avenue in Tempe.
The industrialized storefront boasts: "Meat Market Vintage runs the gamut of unique 20th century apparel for trend-setting (and trend-smashing) women all around the world; from high fashion to low brow, classically chic to alluring androgyny."
It's always great news when the Valley adds another independently owned boutique to our thriving community, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than with live music by High Horse, Odds & Sods, and The Rebel Set.
The official grand opening party goes down from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 3, and features both local rockers. The High Horse trio, made up of The Necronauts' Goodman brothers and Stereotyperider guitarist/vocalist Mike Upsahl will bring their "skiddly biddly bop" sound to the event while The Rebel Set promise to keep things sprite and gritty with their lo-fi garage rock.
Valley punkers Odds and Sods will also be on hand to help with the festivities.
