So if you weren't fortunate enough to make it to Coachella this year -- I along with several of my fellow disappointed New Times staffers fall into that category -- and you're not too broken up about it to find out how it actually went, Spin offers up the high and lowlights of the fest, both from day one and day two.
While yours truly was expecting an epic performance from Jack White and Jay-Z of their brand new, still unreleased single, this did not in fact materialize. It sounds like a lot of other magical things did though. So we'll just have to read about it and dream about it until next year's desert fest comes back. This will give us a whole year to gather the small fortune necessary for our ticket. Who wants to carpool?!?
