It's only January, but Tucson acoustic popsters Roll Acosta are having a good year so far. The group is set to play its second residency show at The Rogue Bar on Friday, February 3 as part of the Occupy Rogue Bar series. The Foleys and Field Tripp will join Roll Acosta for an all Beatles night, which is fun for fans of local music and classic rock alike. We stopped by Roll Acosta's band house in Tucson to hear their take on "A Taste of Honey."

"The arrangement that we came up with was specific to the instruments we play. We're not the guitar, bass, and drums band, we're a little less conventional, so to do something that kind of fit our style meant retooling the song a bit," said drummer Andre Gressieux.

"We figured it would be smart to just go away from the arrangement, like listen to it then just, I don't know, have a shot of whiskey and do something else," guitarist Jake Acosta adds.

Roll Acosta describes their stripped down version of "A Taste of Honey" as more rhythmic and chill than the original. Check it out after the jump.
