Weekend: Eddy Detroit, Indian Jewelry, Candye Kane, I Am AZ Music at The MIM, and Pusha T
Have you locked your weekend plans down yet? There's plenty going on -- on Source Victoria plays the Yucca on Friday, and Saturday night features three shows that couldn't be more different: Glam-rockers The Darkness, legendary singer Glen Campbell, and Michelle Blades CD release show.
But there's more than all of that. Tonight, long time folk-punk poet Eddy Detroit heads to Ghost of Eastside. . His sets these days are comprised mostly of quirky, mandolin-based folk than his percussive, free-associate past, but that doesn't mean Detroit has mellowed out, per se. His songs are still weird and still adventurous.
