If you're one of those trendoid hepcat types who dig American Apparel, colored Ray-Bans, and electro remixes of La Roux, chances are good that you're already familiar with the extracurricular exploits of the Night Thieves. But for those who aren't, here's the skinny on the skinny jean-wearing posse: Consisting of eight of the PHX's swankest spinsters (as well as a coterie of artists, photographers, designers, and other self-described "party beasts"), the Night Thieves collective is slowly taking over the Valley's electronic music landscape. Led by Zachary J. Stevens, they're the brains behind the ultra-fly Electrostatic radio show (broadcast every Tuesday night on KWSS 106.7 FM) as well as a few of the hipper dance nights around town, including the Saturday night shindig White Rabbit at the Ghost Lounge, 202 North Central Avenue. Stevens and his partners BC/AD, Swookie Monster, The Get Downnn, Ariel, Kid Turnswell, and YNOT will be celebrating the recent launch of their new website (www.night-thieves.com) during this weekend's edition on Saturday, August 21, as well as welcoming L.A. electro duo Religion. The raucous revelry starts at 10 p.m. and there's no cover. Call 602-253-4121.
