Snazzy slot machines and other flashy electronic gambling games won't be the only sort of glitzy and glittery distractions vying for your attention at Wild Horse Pass starting this weekend. That's because the Chandler hotel and casino is unveiling its posh new Chrome Nightclub later this evening during its two-night grand opening celebration.

The classy lounge and dance club, which is situated on the second level of the casino just upstairs from its Ovations! Live showroom, takes over the space that was once occupied by Wild Horse Pass' Airia Nightclub.

A casino spokesperson told us that several swank upgrades were made to the space's digs in recent months -- including new furniture and an expanded dance floor -- during the transition process from Airia to Chrome.

(And in case you were wondering, the new nightclub's name, according to a press release from Wild Horse Pass, plays off an equestrian term for the "white patches of color on the face and throughout a horse's physique," which creates a "a streak of lightening-like imagery as the regal animal strides.")

As with its predecessor, Chrome Nightclub will offer bottle service, DJs performing every weekend, and (of course) space for socializing.

This weekend's party will be headlined by Las Vegas club DJ and beat-jockey Roonie G., who will spin high-energy hits, EDM, and music videos that will play on high-end video screens located throughout Chrome while being simultaneously projected onto the dance floor.

The nightclub's weekend resident DJs Soulman (who will be featured every Friday night) and Medik (who will hold down Fridays) are also scheduled to perform.

The grand opening parties kick off at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night. Admission is free. Anyone interested in bottle service or table reservations can call 480-599-6878 or e-mail [email protected].
