Any Valley fatties lookin' to shed a hundred pounds may be in luck -- NBC is looking for a new group of chunkers for its popular weight-loss reality show, The Biggest Loser, and the network is coming to the Valley to hold auditions.
Casting agents from The Biggest Loser will be in Mesa on Saturday morning, but they're looking for more than just a giant obeast -- they want a heffer with a little pizazz.
Producers for the show say they're looking for people with outgoing personalities, who could also stand to lose at least 100 pounds.
For anyone who's never seen the show, here's a brief synopsis: Three fitness nuts -- who look like they've never eaten a carb in their entire lives -- take teams of fat people and unmercifully work/counsel them until until they start losing weight.
The trainers force contestants to eat healthy and exercise, and each week a contestant is voted off the show by the other contestants until "the biggest loser" emerges.
Have a look at one of the show's trainers, Jillian Michaels, in action below.
