Phoenix Mercury Draft Brittney Griner, Who Probably Should Have Been Drafted by the Suns
For what it's worth, the biggest name in women's basketball was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury Monday.
Baylor's Brittney Griner was taken with the first overall pick in the WNBA draft, meaning she's probably unlikely to be drafted by the pathetic Phoenix Suns.
As you may know, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said -- likely for publicity purposes -- that he'd consider having his team draft Griner.
Dallas will probably miss the playoffs, but if you think of a team terrible enough to actually consider having Griner play for them, well, just consider the basement-dwelling Suns.
Take a look at Griner flat-out dominating some women. It couldn't be that bad, if you've seen a Suns game recently.
