Sex and the City of Phoenix; The PHX Ranked Among Top Cities for Single Women
As the saying goes, "if you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it."
However, if you're a single woman, and nobody is yet to "like it" enough to take the plunge and buy that ring, Phoenix, apparently, isn't a bad spot to live.
A Web site targeting single women released its list of America's top cities for single ladies and believe it or not, Phoenix was pretty high on the list.
Single Minded Women, a Web site geared toward that whole Sex and the City crowd, claims that Phoenix ranks sixth on the site's list of top-10 cities for single women.
In determining the list, the site looked at several variables, including employment opportunities, cost of living, access to travel, entertainment opportunities, social opportunities, ratio of men to women, singles population, and other lifestyle factors.
The site claims that there is almost an equal ratio of men to women in the Phoenix area and roughly 30 percent of the men in town are single.
If you've had a look at some of the dudes in Phoenix, there may be a reason for that.
Boston took the top-spot on this year's list, with Washington D.C. coming in second.
New York City, despite being the home of Sex and the City, the show that serves as the bible for
losers who can't find boyfriends single women everywhere, got the bronze.
