Here is your guide to today's spring training games, as well as a look at some of yesterday's games that most Valley baseball fans actually care about (sorry, Royals fans, there's nothin' here for you unless your boys in blue happen to play against the Dodgers, the Cubs, or the Diamondbacks):

Arizona Diamondbacks: The Diamondbacks got smoked by the Cincinnati Reds yesterday 13-7, and D-backs starter Edwin Jackson -- expected to be the number-two man in the team's pitching rotation -- is to blame. Jackson gave up seven runs and six hits in 2 2/3 painful innings. The rattlers scored seven runs but the damage had already been done.

Chicago Cubs:
The Cubbies beat the Texas Rangers 4-1 yesterday and got a ton of help from starter Carlos Silva, who pitched four scoreless innings in the win and solidified his spot in the Cubs regular season rotations. Xavier Nady had a two-run double, which is good news for Cubs fans considering the guy was just signed to a $3.3 million contract to play backup outfielder.

Los Angeles Dodgers: Did not play.
