Steve Nash-Less Suns End Thunder's Nine-Game Winning Streak with Last-Second Shot; Tonight: 76ers
Jason Richardson: Makes the game-winning drive against the Thunder.
It has to be one of the biggest wins of the season for the Phoenix Suns, because so many things pointed to a loss as they headed into Oklahoma City on Tuesday night for their game against the Thunder:
The Suns were only 14-16 on the road, the Thunder was on a nine-game winning streak, and the Suns were without an ailing Steve Nash, who didn't even make the trip to OKC.
But Amar'e Stoudemire came up big again with 30 points, and Jason Richardson also picked up the slack in Nash's absence with 20 and 13 rebounds. Not only that, but Richardson sank a floater with 0.7 seconds left in the game to seal the 104-102 victory against the streaking Thunder.
