this week's winter storms, hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes because of the weather, and the moving company U-Haul hopes to ease the burden placed on displaced families.

U-Haul is offering displaced families from flooding 30 days of free storage in its containers.

If you don't have a box, guess what? U-Haul has plenty, and its giving those away, too.

Anyone who needs boxes to pack up all of their gear can take advantage of U-Haul's "Take a Box, Leave a Box" program. Just go to U-Haul, take a box, and when you're done with it -- rather than breaking it down and throwing it out -- bring it back to U-Haul.

Anyone in need of storage or boxes can get more information about the program by clicking here
