After watching a video about illegal immigration, Virgie Estrada leads a group discussion about each woman's passage to the U.S.

Virgie Estrada has been working with the Lassen mothers for the past six months. "From the very beginning, I have been completely honest with them," she says.

A group of Mexican mothers meets in the Lassen Elementary parent center each Wednesday. Most say this is the first group of girlfriends they've ever had.

Angelina Lopez says the Lassen group inspired her to get a job after her husband went to prison.

Gloria Herrera came with her two daughters to join her husband in Phoenix. Of her passage through the Nogales tunnel she says, "It was ugly."
