These aren't the only athletes that merit a follow on Instagram, they're just some of the ones we like the most. Feel free to mention your favorites in the comments.

10. dockett90

Most athletes' social media accounts are relatively family friendly and contain mostly inspirational quotes and photos of them in games or working out. Darnell Dockett is decidedly against that mold. Though the Cardinals defensive end's Instagram hasn't gotten him in as much trouble as his Twitter account, it's still the most interesting, offensive, and hilarious account on this list.

9. biznasty

Technically Paul Bissonnette is now a free agent since his contract with the Coyotes came to an end, and technically Bissonnette lives in Canada during the offseason, but during his very recent time as a Phoenix athlete, "Biznasty" made the most of his social media accounts. His humor sometimes rubs people the wrong way, but considering that he probably has more fans on Twitter and Instagram than he does on the ice, he must be doing something right.

8. theblurbarbosa

Phoenix doesn't have a whole lot of Brazilian athletes, but as long as you're willing to read the English translation of some of Leandro Barbosa's Portuguese posts, the Suns guard will give you a look into offseason life in Brazil as well as the expected inspirational quotes and workout shots.

7. brittneygriner

A key piece to arguably the best team Phoenix has ever seen (no really, look at the Mercury's 2014 record, it's ridiculous), Brittney Griner's Instagram game is almost as strong as her game in the paint. One of the best collegiate women's basketball players to ever step on the court is now a strong force for the Mercury, and her unapologetic Instagram feed is a great representation of Griner on and off the court.

6. larryfitzgerald

Larry Fitzgerald doesn't post on Instagram a whole lot, but realistically he's probably Phoenix's most well-known and successful professional athlete at this point. The elite wide receiver gets bonus points for not overloading his account with inspirational quotes and photos of him making insane catches.

5. dianataurasi

Another one of the best women's collegiate basketball players ever, Diana Taurasi has already stamped out a spot for herself among the WNBA's best to ever play the game as well. She doesn't post much on Instagram, but we had to give her credit for being one of Phoenix's top athletes.

4. mc_plumlord

When it comes to Phoenix athletes not getting enough credit, Miles Plumlee could certainly be on the top of that list. Aside from the Suns big man being underappreciated on the court, his Instagram isn't filled with the standard athlete photos. It's a lot more diverse and insightful to Plumlee's unique personality.

3. patrickcorbin46

The Diamondbacks' pitcher won't be throwing again this year due to Tommy John surgery, but Patrick Corbin is making good use of his time rehabbing his elbow by staying active on social media. Though he doesn't post too often, he's one of the only noteworthy Diamondbacks we could find on Instagram, which is a good way to keep him fresh in people's minds for his anticipated 2015 return.

2. jamievarner

Most MMA fighters post the same generic photos as most other athletes. Jamie Varner, on the other hand, shares the photos from his weekends out (and vacation through Europe) when he's not training for his next UFC fight. The Phoenix native may also have the best "selfie face" in the UFC.

1. pjtucker17

We can't say for certain that PJ Tucker has the best sneaker game of Phoenix's athletes, but he certainly has some of the best sneaker posts on Instagram. Tucker may be suspended for the beginning of the Suns' season due to a DUI in May, but that won't stop him from showing off his kicks in the meantime.
