Questival Scavenger Hunt

This is a 24-hour scavenger hunt where you and two to ix of your closest friends are faced with completing more than 300 challenges anyway you would like. From camping under the stars to big-wheeling downtown to selfies with llamas; it’s a choose your own adventure kind of race with eligibility to advance the Questival World Championship where you and your team will race across seven countries from Belize to Panama. This winners of the championship race will receive a trip around the world. Wipeout Run
If you’ve seen the show Wipe Out, you’re on the right track. On November 14, Westworld will be hosting the Wipeout Run, a race filled with enormous sweeper arms, giant wrecking balls, and a finish line consisting of a four-story water slide. This 5K run looks to ensure hilarity as you make your way through a series of twelve crazy obstacles inspired by and partnered with TV show Wipeout. Petroglyph Discovery Hike
Experience a bit of history with this short hike at South Mountain. Beginning at 9 a.m. on November 21, this one-hour/one-mile hike will be led by an experienced museum guide who will shed light on some ancient carvings dating back hundreds of years. Lost Dutchman State Park: Full Moon Hike
Don’t miss this opportunity to see the full moon at it’s most spectacular – out in the beautiful wilderness of the Superstion Mountains. This is a 2.5 mile hike taking place, November 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. Hikers will be trekking Jacob’s Crosscut Trail at the base of the Superstition Mountains. The trail is ranked easy-moderate with some rocky and uneven areas and occasional elevation gains totaling 120 feet. Flashlights are recommended in case of partial cloud cover and as usual, hikers are asked to wear proper footwear. Post-hike, there will be a campfire and marshmallow roast. This hike is limited to one hundred hikers, so reserve your spot soon by calling 480-982-4485 or visit azstateparks.com. This is an all-ages hike, although not suitable for strollers or walker.
Sutra Studios 7th Annual Gratitude Flow
If you’re looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving Day or a chance to give back to the community, head down to Coronado Park at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning for Sutra Studios 7th Annual Gratitude Flow where you’ll have a chance to embrace the idea of Sutra, which translates to “the thread that binds." This is an outdoor, holiday class creating an opportunity to give thanks and spend time with your community. This event is $5 at the door or the donation of a coat.
