This weekend marks the sixth run for A Bitch in Time, or ABIT. The all-women show will include solo performances by various creative locals, as well as a few surprises from event organizers Kim Porter and Ashley Naftule.

Performers include Willa Eigo, Shawna Franks, Jacki O, Koy Mangan, Sally Jo Bannow, Meghan Kelsey, Brigid Maloney, Allie Shepler, Molly Mccloy, Elizabeth Naranja, and New Times staffer Katie Johnson.

Space 55 artistic director and ABIT performer Shawna Franks says people can look forward to the variety of work that the show presents.

"Everything is just going to be kind of a surprise," Franks says. "Some of it is new work, some of it is work that people have done before, but it's all original."

A Bitch in Time will take place Friday and Saturday, November 8 and 9. Both shows begin at 8 p.m. at Space 55 in downtown Phoenix. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through www.space55.org.
