Isn't every summer in the Valley a Summer of Brew? Given the prevalent heat index, cold beer is a daily right of passage for many. Now the Windsor, with its rotating Summer of Brew series, pairs good eats with quality beers. Highlighted breweries so far this summer -- in which select beers are coupled with four-course meals -- include Sierra Nevada and Victory Brewing. Black Market Brewing Company strolls into town for the next anticipated event. The Temecula, California, brewery is known for dynamic beers such as the Belgian Golden Blond, 5th Anniversary Common Ale, Revolution Oatmeal Stout, and Quadrophenia -- a Belgian Quadruple. Food and beer pairings for this event are yet to be announced, but a feast is expected.

Enjoy this second-to-last Summer of Brew dinner from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, at the Windsor, 5223 North Central Avenue. Tickets are $50. Seating is limited, so RSVP at [email protected] or call 602-279-1111.
