There's plenty of work to do for the members of local glassblowing group Circle 6. The team was spotted setting up shop inside 501 E. Roosevelt (formerly Pravus Gallery) building shelving and additional wall space.

The gallery, to-be-called Circle 6, will house artwork from the collective, as well as local glass artists.

The space will not be open for tonight's First Friday art walk, but the artists say (over the loud drilling) that they're hoping get the spot open as soon as possible.

No word on whether the group will host glass blowing classes and workshops similar to those in the group's former location on Virginia Avenue in Phoenix, though building owner Angie Pappas says the group has plans for both gallery and work space.

For more information, check out the Circle 6 website, read up on their process in an interview we had with owner John Longo and artist Juston Daniels in June, and stay tuned for more details.
