A little more than two weeks should give you plenty of time to submit a short film for the 15th Annual Arizona State University Art Museum Short Film and Video Festival ... given, you have a film to submit.

The museum's festival, held this year on April 23, features a number of short films and videos from local and international artists, organized and juried by California filmmaker Bob Pece and ASU Art Museum curator John Spiak.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Jan. 28. More submission details and a clip of last year's "LeBlanc Audience Choice Award" after the jump ...

The application (and the event) is free, and requirements can be found on the festival's website. Last year's festival featured 21 short films and videos on everything from airport security to animated fables.

The video below is The Job by Jonathan Browning, a filmmaker in California. His film won the LeBlanc Audience Choice Award, an audience-chosen award named for former ASU Art Museum Security Officer Steve LeBlanc, who passed away in 1998.
