If the deepest ethical question you’ve dealt with today revolved around whether to pick up that penny or leave it for another passerby, perhaps you’re due for something more stimulating.

If medical quandaries are of interest, give University of Arizona's Science Cafe lecture series a go. On Monday, the school hosts Dr. David H. Beyda, a professor of pediatrics, for a free presentation titled Asking the Hard Questions: Medical Ethics in the Third World. Heavy? Yes. Worth discussing? Certainly.

The lecture takes place at University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix, 550 East Van Buren Street, on building two's thrid floor in the Telemedicine Suite. Complimentary munchies and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
