Game of Thrones is arguably best known for its brutally violent scenes.

The first season's baby-killing scenes most certainly turned a lot of people off to the entire series, but if you stuck with it, there's a fair chance you're glad you did. It is without a doubt one of the hottest television shows, and for good reason.

But this is an HBO series we're talking about, so sex closely rivals the abundance of blood and gore. The show spawned the term "sexposition," after all.

With that in mind, here are our five favorite sex scenes from the first three seasons of Game of Thrones.

Lord "Littlefinger" Baelish teaches Ros a thing or two
This is the scene that prompted blogger Myles McNutt to coin the term "sexposition," which means working important background information into a sex scene.

Cersei and Jaime Lannister in the tower of Winterfell
This is the sex that started it all. Brother and sister get caught diddling in the tower by a young Bran Stark. Jaime then pushes the boy from the tower window. It's no surprise this eventually led to a war between Starks and Lannisters.

Daenerys Targaryen learns how to please her man
How long will it be until Khaleesi gets it on with her new love interest Daario?

Jon Snow (finally) gets seduced by Ygritte in a cave
Did Jon Snow ever really love Ygritte? Where did he ride off to? So many questions.

Robb Stark and Talisa fool around for the first (and last) time
It's easy to get sappy over this love scene after, y'know, the Red Wedding.

Is it Sunday yet?
