When it really comes down to it, All Hallows Eve boils down to one thing: Adopting the identity of someone else, if only for an evening or two. Several Valley punk bands will do just this on Wednesday, October 31, at the Yucca Tap Room, 29 West Southern Avenue, when they perform as some the genre's biggest legends during the Punk Rock Halloween Bash. BroLoaf, for instance, will perform as '70s hardcore forerunners Fear while the members of The Dark Hearts become the Dead Boys, Rotten Youth pays tribute to GBH, the All City Boot Boys transform into The Adicts, and the PV Casualties mimic The Misfits. Attendees can also witness Storm the Beach as The Dwarves, Domino playing the role of The Clash, and others. A costume contest will also take place. The transformation starts at 8 p.m. Admission is free. Call 480-967-4777.
