We had the Charlie Daniels Band out here for Bike Week, says Chesters Harley-Davidsons Marketing Director, Andreanne Depape, and that sat about 13,000 people.
Thats some party pad. Depape, who moved to the front seat in 1999 with a Road King Classic, now hosts a more manageable crowd of 300 fellow hog riders and sled lusters every Saturday afternoon at Party on the Patio, a free event hosted by Chesters with proceeds going to charity.
Hogsters can rest their rides under the patios canopy, grab some grill grub, demo a new Harley, play games, or root for the rookies on Chesters state-certified motorcycle training course all while live music including blues, classic covers, and 50s rock n roll blasts in the background.
You dont have to have a Harley to be part of the culture, Depape says of the events lively atmosphere. Some people just want a tee-shirt.
