Something must be seriously wrong with Chase Field's feng shui. Short of bad luck, this is just about the only explanation we can think of as to how the Diamondbacks have managed to play better while on the road for the first half of this season. The D-Backs woes at home are the main reason why the team is sitting a mile out of first a week away from the All-Star break. The good news is that the D-Back’s home schedule is about to get a bit easier.

As wavering as the D-Backs have been at home, the San Diego Padres have been considerably worse on the road. That should make this week's series between the D-Backs and Padres at 401 East Jefferson Street a chance for the Diamondbacks to clean up their home record.
