You know what we’re tired of? People complaining about the scorching heat. Guess what, dudes? You live in Phoenix. It’s a desert. If anything, you should complain about the fact that folks can now pack heat in Arizona eateries and bars.

Instead of making us go all hick-tastic and say, “If you don’t like it here, go back where you came from,” we suggest dropping the played-out pessimistic ’tude and embrace the summer as well as the people who are brave enough to put on supercool events. For example, the Downtown Chamber Series ain’t skeered of no heat; the DCS folks will be performing their next program at Phoenix Art Museum – featuring works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Debussy for piano and strings – not just once, but twice./p>
