Vintage fiends be warned: Downtown's MacAlpine's is clearing out storage and gathering treasures for a blowout estate sale this weekend.

The retail and soda shop's owner, Monica Heizenrader, says she's been eyeing a few of the smaller mid-century items and furniture pieces, artwork, clothing and collectables that haven't seen the front of the store.

On Saturday and Sunday, she'll be bringing them across the street to the Bible Baptist Church, which will house the sale in its gymnasium.

All of the items will be for sale starting Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.. Heizenrader says the sale will continue as long as people are stopping in.

"it might be the only place where you can go to an estate sale and walk across the street to cool down with one of our 34 soda fountain flavors," she says.

Now, you'll just have to beat us to the parking lot.
