Looking for something to do this week? "Night Owl" is a quick guide to special nights at bars and clubs around town. We'll give you a few hints re: cover, dress code, music and atmosphere. Every Wednesday marks Mad Woman Wednesdays at The Duce.

Mad Woman Wednesdays at the The Duce in downtown Phoenix is a ladies' night that's all about fresh and organic vintage cocktails and loud live music. The night's kept a pretty low profile, but with any luck, the dance floor will be buzzing next Wednesday.

See the full Mad Woman Wednesdays at The Duce slideshow here and check out a full rundown after the jump ...

The Place: 525 S. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85004

The Time: Every Wednesday, 8 to 12 p.m.

The Parking: Lot.

The Bar: The old school cocktails feature organic alcohol and fresh squeezed fruit juices. The Duce makes delicious drinks but they aren't the cheapest in town. Fortunately for the ladies, Wednesdays mean two-for-one drinks. While we enjoyed the old fashioned old fashioneds, the bar's homemade Duce Lemonade was a sweet but just sour enough blast from the present.

The Music: Incredibly loud. Mad Woman Wednesdays started out with some Mad Men era jazz classics before party shuffling into an eclectic collection of hip hop, rock and even country courtesy of DJ Luis Machado.

The People: The event lived up to its billing as a ladies night. Of the four people in attendance, three of them were indeed female.

The Style: Ladies are encouraged to don their 60s duds. The Duce itself has thrift store decor, antique accents and an old school gym feel. The bar actually hosts a boxing/conditioning class at 6 p.m. every Wednesday too.

What we loved: The vintage vibe and thirst-quenching throwbacks suit the Mad Men mood that the bar is going for. We also loved the mini mason jars the drinks came in.

What we didn't love: The absence of anyone.

Are we going back? Yes, but we might wait until the new season of Mad Men starts. Maybe that'll inspire a few people to come out.
