The Phoenix Suns Dancers are hosting an open auditions on Saturday, August 9, for the 2014-15 season. Leading up to the auditions, the Suns Dancers will host a series of optional but highly recommended prep classes to teach interested performers a variety of dance routines for the big day.

Classes will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., with registration starting at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, July 22, Monday, July 28, and Wednesday, August 6; as well as from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 2, with registration starting at noon.
All prep classes will be led as mock auditions and held at Annexus Practice Court inside U.S. Airways Center. Admission is $25 per dancer and must be paid in cash at registration. Each class will feature a group warm-up, 30-minute cardio workout, a sideline routine, a timeout routine, demos of what to wear on audition day, and an overview of what judges will be looking for including headshots, résumés, and audition criteria. Prep class participants should wear workout attire, dance or athletic shoes, and bring their own bottled water or sports drinks.
Auditions on Saturday, August 9, will be held at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. Registration is at 7:30 a.m. and auditions start at 8:30 a.m. Dancers must be at least 18 years old on the day of the audition. For more information and to sign up for classes, visit www.nba.com/suns.
