Is it just us or are the "unconference," social media networking, meet and greet (with people you probably already know, or have at least shared a wifi-connection with)-type events taking over every hip bar and coffee shop in downtown Phoenix?
Maybe it's just that time of year.
Add CenPhoCamp to your moleskin as another event to see and be seen in the next few weeks. The event's in its second year and "exists to teach greater downtown Phoenix businesses how to thrive in the new economy." You can expect to see Kirk Yunke of ABC 15, Bill Binder of Torch Theater, Jonathan Kressaty of RipStyles and Betwext, to name a few.
The event is free to anyone (you just have to register).
More details after the jump ...
Like any good event with a good number of hip downtowners, it's a pot-luck. Bring a lunch or two and at least something to munch on -- you'll need it after the elevator ride up to the event in the Cronkite School at the downtown ASU campus. Trust us.
The "unconference" will run from 1 to 4:30 p.m., when the party moves to the District for appetizers. For more info on speakers, location, and registration, visit the CenPhoCamp website.
