The members of Scottsdale scene better make sure their swimsuits, beach towels, and sunscreen are in order, as a major pool party venue is set to make its debut next week.
Proprietors of Māyā Day and Nightclub, the 27,300-square-foot beach club and entertainment complex situated in the heart of Scottsdale's party-hearty downtown district, have announced that it will open its doors (and pool) to the tanned and toned masses on Wednesday, April 24.

Ringed by restaurants and bars (like Hi Fi Kitchen and Cocktails, which opened earlier this month), the daytime/nighttime swim spot will definitely be geared towards the well-heeled and well-moneyed crowd as it will offer 17,600 square feet of outdoor space for resort-style private cabanas, daybeds, lounges, and other VIP hideout from the sun, all of which will surround Maya's gigantic pool.
It also will sport some nightlife-oriented amenities aimed at the party crowd, such as two large HD LED video screens hanging above the premises, a few top-shelf sound systems, and an 9,700 square foot indoor nightclub. The folks at Steve Levine Entertainment have also booked plenty of high-profile DJs to perform at the venue, including for a big-time affair starring Calvin Harris on Sunday, April 28.
As the above YouTube promo for Maya shows off, a "floating stage" that will host concerts and DJs will also be arranged in the center of the pool that's connected to dry land via a long runway that's designed to feature models traipsing along in haute couture during fashion shows.
Hope they don't trip because an unscheduled dip in certain to muss up their fancy hairdo and makeup.
