If you've always wanted to see the (sometimes organized) chaos of an artist's studio with insight from the artist and art experts, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Ultimate Art & Cultural Tours have good news.
On January 16, February 20, and March 30, SMoCA staff and Ace Bailey will guide community members through the studios of local artists, including sculptors Larry Passe and Kevin Caron, painter John Dawson, and artist and architect Kimberly Harris.

Bailey has a long history in the arts. She was program director of the Sierra Arts Foundation, she's been a docent at SMoCA, and in 2010, Bailey was appointed to the Scottsdale Tourism Development Commission.
On each day, she and SMoCA staff members will lead two tours (leaving from SMoCA at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.). Tours will last about four hours and will provide unique glimpses into the creative process, and inspirations of the local artists.
According to SMoCA, each excursion includes three studios. Attendees are encouraged to pack a sack lunch and wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Tickets for SMoCA members are $186 for all three tours and $62 for single tours, for non-members the three-tour package is $201 and the single tours are $67 each.
