After a forgettable 2012 campaign, the Arizona Cardinals – understandably -- made some serious roster modifications during the off-season. Some were controversial, some imperative. One move that had Cards fans' undies in a bundle was allowing defensive coordinator Ray Horton to jettison the Valley and take up shop in Cleveland -- ouch. Fortunately, new D.C. Todd Bowles is an equally adroit schemer who has the Cards' D looking every bit the menacing squad that wreaked havoc on opposing offenses last season. And given that the Cards' offense has done plenty of its own reeking lately, it's particularly crucial that Bowles' defense is firing on all cylinders should the Cards hope to eke out a few more wins this season.

He'll have his work cut out for him when the Seattle Seahawks bring their explosive offense to Glendale's University Of Phoenix Stadium, 1 West Cardinals Drive, on Thursday, October 17, in a nationally televised game that kicks off at 5:25 p.m. Tickets start at $30.
