It's Valentine's Day. So while everyone else is pulling out all the stops to get gussied up for the evening's affairs, a historic downtown Phoenix building will be doing the same.

Many locals may already be familiar with The Pressroom, a 14,000-square-foot structure built in the 1920s, formerly known as the Madison Events Center, and located in Phoenix's warehouse district. Although its days of producing print have long since passed, and it's hosted its occasional share of private events in recent years, a new duo of party-makers are set to turn the semi-retired building into a nightlife hotspot.

Under the new management of Latest Craze Productions owner Jason Charles and RSVP Special Events owner Narender Raju, The Pressroom now will serve as the venue for large-scale events including musical performances presented by Danny Zelisko, live shows by Scandalesque, and the Season 10 Opener for the Renegade Rollergirls on Saturday, February 22.

The newly renovated space, which received its full liquor license earlier this month, will open its doors tonight at 8 for Scandalesque's newest burlesque show, Fever.

The show will offer sultry singing, dancing, comedy, and more, as well as a pre-show reception where guests can watch the dancers get painted, and an 11 p.m. afterparty with DJ Alkeme' Zule'. Tickets are currently sold out online but limited tickets being sold at the door. Prices range $25 to $100. Show starts at 9 p.m. Additional showtimes for Fever are February 21 and 28 at 9 p.m.
