According to the official website for Jell-O, there are 15 recommended ways you can utilize the gelatinous dessert during the springtime season, including mixing it into pies, cupcakes, and other treats.

The organizers of this weekend's Mega Metal festival in Cave Creek, however, have a different idea for using Jell-O to have a sweet time: They'll fill an inflatable kiddie pool with gallons and gallons of the sugary substance for a series of wrestling matches featuring buxom babes taking on tattooed dudes takes place.

It certainly sounds better than cooking up some creamy pineapple marshmallow bars.

A sticky situation is sure to develop inside the Cave Creek Smokehouse on Saturday, April 28, when both men and women will strip down to their unmentionables and wade into a shallow sea of Jell-O and start grappling with one another.

Anyone who's ever wanted to trash about with a pin-up girl or model-quality hottie can sign up to participate.

While local metal bands provide a hard-charging soundtrack, participants will get down and dirty for the enjoyment of festival patrons, who will most likely unleash a few catcalls and whistles while the matches take place.

The members of Murdock's Trinity Records, the organizers of the festival, have recruited a slew of models and pin-up girls from around the Valley to participate in the matches.

According to the organizer's Facebook page, anyone who attends the event can wrestle, which includes members of the audience and any of the musicians who will be performing.

"We will have both girls wrestling guys," it states. "On the other hand, there are guys that will get to wrestle ladies from the audience. We have several of the band members going in [as well]. Equal opportunity, right?"

The Mega Metal festival takes place from noon until midnight on Saturday, April 28, at the Cave Creek Smokehouse. Tickets are $10 and the proceeds benefiting Ear Candy.
