Looking for something to do this weekend? "Night Owl" is a quick guide to special nights at bars and clubs around town. We'll give you a few hints re: cover, dress code, music and atmosphere. Saturdays mark Three Olives Happy Hour at Ticoz Resto-Bar.

The cocktails might be created and named on the spot, and therefore fairly hard to order, but Ticoz Resto-Bar's resident bartender/mixologist Shane Bullock mixes, mashes and muddles one mean martini. Saturday's Three Olives Happy Hour at the comfortably cosmopolitan Costa Rican bar are all about the $5 You-call-its.

Check out the latest installment here and a full recap after the jump...

The Place: 5114 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ 85014

The Time: 3 - 8 p.m., every Saturday.

The Cover: Nope.

The Parking: Lot.

The People: The quiet crowd consisted of cuddled up couples and groups of friends looking to grab an early evening drink.

What we loved: The staff. Everyone we interacted with seemed to honestly love their job. The drinks were also pretty awesome.

What we didn't love: We know it's a happy hour, but we really wish the $5 special went past 8 p.m. because after that the price nearly doubled.

Are we going back? We'll be cozying up at Ticoz before too long.
