Classic Arcade Corner Competition @ Gotham City Comics Downtown Mesa gets its game face on with ThinGAMEajig, a Second Friday evening of board, arcade, and card play. In on the fun, Gotham City Comics will host a competitive crew of joystick wielders in addition to the shop's weekly Magic: The Gathering get-together.

Orange Theatre's Spring Mixer @ Phoenix Center for the Arts Orange Theatre breaks in its new space at Phoenix Center for the Arts at 7 p.m. Friday with food from Joya Scott, cocktails mixed by Titus Fauntleroy, and musical entertainment from North Brother Island, Troi Lowney, and Elizabeth Kennedy Bayer. There's a suggested donation of $8.

One-Year Anniversary Party @ Meat Market Vintage Happy birthday, dear Meat Market. The Mill Avenue vintage shop celebrates one year as a brick-and-mortar establishment with a sidewalk sale, grub from Desert Roots Kitchen, and (rumor has it) free sangria. "Bearded Octopus" @ Gypsy Bar Jen Deveroux presents another big ol' art show. This time around, the nightlife maven hosts 60-plus Arizona artists, including Tato Caraveo, Dumperfoo, and James B. Hunt, in a circus-themed exhibition, "Bearded Octopus," on Saturday. The event features performances from Cut Throat Freak Show and Scandalesque. The show opens at 9:30 p.m. at Gypsy Bar.

Bike Gayng 17 @ Crescent Ballroom Do you wanna be a rider? Get in with Bike Gayng Saturday as the cycling crew barhops its way around downtown Phoenix. Join in Saturday at 5 p.m. at Crescent Ballroom, where Flamenco Por La Vida will get the dancing started. From there, the ride will hit up Bikini Lounge, SoChu House, Royale Lounge, and Rips. Participation in the 21-plus party time is free. Helmets and water bottles are encouraged.
