TBAG Eggnog Ride @ Tempe Beach Park
Hop on the ole two-wheeler for Tempe Bicycle Action Group's Third Friday ride. This jaunt is routed with neighborhood diversions for optimal viewing of Hanukkah and Christmas lights. Attendees are encouraged to add festive lights to their bikes, and tote hot cocoa and cookies -- that'll burn off during the run. The meetup will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Tempe Beach Park and wrap up a few hours later with drinks. Participation is free. See details here.

Phantom of the Ghetto Screening @ Ragin Cajun
Marco Polo Saldana's new hyper-color noir flick about a Mexican beatnik assassin, Johnny Danger, who sets his eyes on taking down an all-powerful cartel premieres on Saturday at for what's scheduled to be the one and only local screening. Saldana says that he's submitted the film to major festivals including Sundance and IFC in hopes of Phantom gaining national traction. Admission to the event, which will take place at Ragin Cajun, is $3.

Holiday Open House and Mini Art Fair @ Red Hot Robot
When Red Hot Robot opens its doors on Saturday at noon the go-to shop for geeky gets will offer up free snacks as part of its holiday open house, as well as a selection of works from Jordan Thomas, Sebastien Millon, Steam Crow, and Gary Ham. The fun goes until 4 p.m., and there's no charge for admission. See more details here.

Native American Micro, Mini Film Festival @ FilmBar
Razelle Benally's Love Is A Losing Game, which clocks in at six minutes, and Nanna Dalunde's Apache Chronicle, which reaches the 40-minute mark, will screen during this two-movie short film festival on Saturday night starting at 9 p.m. at FilmBar. Admission is free. See details here.

Christmas Party @ Cheers Sports Bar
