It can be totally annoying to find a business card stuck in the windshield of your car. But a little green Army man on your hood? So much better.
The little toys are popping up all over downtown Phoenix, and if you're one of the lucky people to find one, it scores you free admission to the Pre-School for Adults show. The improvised theater event brings Torch Theatre alumni as well as the Apollo 12 and Unicorn Warpath troupes to the stage, where they'll take audience suggestions and create scenes that tell a story. It's the same milieu you may remember from your primary years, complete with snacks, coloring books, and blanket seats on the floor. But since it's for adults, no subject is off-limits.
"We've forgotten the fun we had in kindergarten, which is just playing," says performer Bill Binder. "We want people to come and feel like they're five years old again."
