“Muck: Accumulations, Accretions and Aggregations” is one of ASU Art Museum's latest exhibitions. It showcases more than 20 new and old works from contemporary ceramic sculpture artists Susan Beiner, Nathan Craven, Michael Fujita, David Hicks, Annabeth Rosen, Meghan Smythe, and Matt Wedel. In this show, technical form and captivating aesthetic collide as these seven artists aim to depict the balance between the human experience and a dominating technological culture.
The exhibition, which opened February 15, is on display through Saturday, May 31, at 51 East 10th Street in Tempe. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. On Tuesday, April 8, museum curator Peter Held will give a gallery tour of the exhibition and a lecture at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the exhibition is free, as is the tour.
